Adventures in Personal Computing's Data Recovery & Backup
Services
If you unintentionally or accidentally delete one or more files, depending on how soon after the deletion occurred, the file(s) may be recoverable. The best strategy for you once you have discovered that an important file has been deleted is to avoid saving additional files and/or installing additional applications and, then, to have AiPC attempt recovery as soon as possible. AiPC uses advanced techniques and utilities for data recovery, resulting in a high success rate. Recovery of Data from Unreadable Drive If you cannot start up your computer because the hard disk drive is unreadable, this is usually because the MBR or FAT is corrupted. AiPC employs advanced techniques and utilities to access to the partition(s) for recovery of user files or to restore the entire partition(s). For severely damaged drives, AiPC uses another facility that specializes in recovery from damaged disks and/or inoperable drives. Transfer of Data from Old to New Drive If you wish to replace the original drive with a larger drive or add a larger/faster drive to your system, AiPC can transfer the bootable image to the new drive and, then, erase data and reformat the old drive. All computer users (home and business) should have some type of system in place, either manual or automatic, for backing up their personal and/or sensitive files. Small business owners should have a separate (perhaps wireless) drive to back up customer files and data automatically on a daily or weekly basis. AiPC can back up your files (videos, pictures, etc.) to CD(s), DVD(s) or an external hard disk drive, or can set up an external hard drive (wired or wireless) for automatic backups. |
