Hardware & Software Maintenance AiPC provides predictive and preventive maintenance services for the entire computer system (hardware and software), including peripherals. Predictive maintenance pertains mainly to system hardware with the performance of diagnostic tests that identify potential problems of critical system components (e.g., CPU, system memory and hard disk drive) before they undergo catastrophic failures. Actions for potential problems could be as simple as cleaning a component or adding a cooling fan, but may also involve repair or replacement of the component, especially if user data is at risk (e.g., predicted hard disk drive failure would necessitate immediate backup of user files and replacement of the drive sometime before it is predicted to fail). Preventive maintenance services include cleaning of critical system components to prevent overheating, operating system updates to insure optimal performance, installation of security patches to eliminate vulnerabilities that can be exploited by malware and assessment of protection against malware of all types. Other maintenance services are cleaning (open-case cleaning of system, as well as component and peripheral cleaning), checkup (comprehensive diagnostic testing of entire computer system) and tune-up (updates and configurations to enhance the speed and performance of the computer system). Cleaning, Checkup & Tune-up Package This package provides all of the services that should be performed at least once a year and, upon request, AiPC will remind you annually (or at any interim you request) of when your computer is due for these services. Each service listed below is also available separately. AiPC performs an open-case cleaning of all internal computer components (especially heat-sensitive components), a power supply test and inspection of data/power connections. Also, inspection and cleaning of CD/DVD drive(s), keyboard, mouse and monitor. AiPC's checkup includes a comprehensive testing of all computer components (motherboard, chipset, processor, system memory, audio and graphics cards, USB ports, CD/DVD drive(s), hard disk drive(s) and any optional components) to identify problems before they cause full system failure and/or to identify and repair problems to improve the speed, performance and stability of your system. AiPC's tune-up includes Inspections, updates, upgrades and tweaks of the operating system (system files and registry), device drivers and Microsoft Windows applications. Also, removal of unnecessary files and defragmentation of the hard disk drive. AiPC utilizes industry standard benchmarking tests to assess the speed, performance and stability of gaming systemx, and will compare the results of your computer's assessment with a large database of gaming systems to see where your system ranks. AiPC will then prepare a thorough diagnostic/ benchmarking report, including upgrade and repair recommendations to make your system even more competitive. Going far beyond a checkup or tune-up, this service focuses on hardware and software upgrades, updates, tweaks and configurations that optimizes your system for specific tasks and/or applications (gaming or small business). |
